My first blog - 001

No headlines. Just life.

I was driving through Cherry Hill, NJ, right after finishing breakfast with a close friend. At the traffic light on Mansion and Route 38, I saw a family walking and pushing a shopping cart along the busy highway, something that’s sadly become pretty normal these days.

It appeared that the cart wasn’t filled with groceries but with belongings — blankets, bags, and what looked like personal items. I didn’t think much of it at first. After dropping my friend off, I headed to my mom’s house to drop off some things.

While driving through Camden, I saw the same group again. This time, I slowed down and took a few photos from my car. One of them shouted, “Why are you taking photos?” Now that I think about it, it was a valid question. I didn’t say anything I just drove off.

When I got home, I uploaded the image into Lightroom and added a few personal touches. It was a reminder that anyone can be in that situation. You never know someone’s life circumstances. I also believe that we shouldn't turn a blind eye to it. This is reality, and it deserves to be seen.
